I am a friend or relative of a electric current/by resident
I went to The Palms of Fort Myers. I was very impressed. My girlfriend was there and they had corking food. The merely thing I didn't like well-nigh it was they only had two elevators, and when you've got a big building like that, sometimes you wait for the elevator forever. But it was a beautiful place, just the location was across the Edison mall near, and to me, that was a bad location for me to visit, you know, to go down there and visit my husband. So, I didn't choose that for him. The Palms of Fort Myers is old, only it's beautiful. It's like a library when you walk in, it's all forest, 2 stories, and has a cute piano and a fireplace. They had a nice screened lanai. And for me, I have two kitties, so that would have been dainty. They were bowling in the anteroom when I was there. It looked like fun. They played mahjong and I'm a mahjong player so that would entreatment to me. I was impressed with the food, and the apartments were overnice sized, large closets, and she had the biggest apartment there. She had a very modest living room and kitchen, merely she had a nice flat and a nice little screened porch so she could sit exterior.

I visited The Palms of Fort Myers. It's a really skilful place for seniors. Their meals are really skilful. They work very well with seniors, and it'southward very make clean. Everybody there is friendly. Their meals were plated nicely, and they had unlike things that you could pick on the bill of fare. We had to wear a mask, and they had the antibacterial machines around so you lot could use them.

The tour at The Palms of Fort Myers was wonderful, the lady was wonderful, and the place was immaculate. The staff even called me several times to see how my brother was doing. She asked me what I was looking for and she showed me three different rooms. She showed me the cafeteria, what they accept, and what they do. She showed me a studio, a 1-bedchamber, and the third 1 was a one-bedchamber, as well. They had a game room, I recollect they had a puddle area, a computer room, a cafeteria, the main room, and a theater room. It is an older building, just it is make clean, very cozy, warm, and very welcoming.

I toured The Palms of Fort Myers. I liked it, it was nice, just I didn't call up that nosotros could afford it for my mother because she was on a lot of medications, and the upcharge depending on how many medications they had to dispense just would take her out of her power to pay. They actually let us consume lunch at that place too, and so she could encounter the quality of the food, and the way the dining hall was set up, and how it operated. Information technology was nice and she liked the fact that it had a pool. The staff were all very nice. When we ate lunch it was like we were eating in a restaurant. The nutrient was excellent, she got something to beverage, a soup, an entree, and she had a little salad. It was good. The chief floor was really overnice, they had a fireplace, it looked cozy, and welcoming.

My parents moved into the Palms in July, 2019. Before moving them, I visited over a dozen retirement communities. Not one felt as warm and loving as the Palms, it truly is an extraordinary customs. Literally every unmarried person who works there is loving, kind, friendly and incredibly helpful. The culture information technology that the residents are your grandparents, and they are to be treated with the same beloved and respect as you would your own family. My parents Honey it in that location! It is no surprise that they have won the BEST OF FT MYERS RETIREMENT COMMUNITIES for over 10 years running. BTW, the nutrient is very good, they both love it. My parents really enjoy dining in the large brilliant downstairs dining room.

We pretty much decided on the Palms of Fort Myers. We've been there twice. We liked the layout of the living facilities, the dining facilities, the staff, and the amenities in that location. They were very helpful, very friendly, and courteous. They have an do room, a carte du jour room, a pool, a room for meetings, and a chapel. The food was very well prepared, aplenty, and had squeamish choices.

The volunteer coordinator, the administrator, and the marketing person were very open.

They take a i-chamber and a ii-bedroom, according to how many would want to come like if I desire to go with my hubby or he tin can get by himself. I saw everything, and everything was very squeamish. The people who work there were very helpful. I spoke to some of the residents, and everybody seemed very happy. The nutrient was very good because they invited united states to eat with them. They become to the supermarket, they continue trips, they play, they socialize, or they get out to the parks. They had a small-scale bus, and they take them to different places and even to their doctors.

My mother-in-law moved in at the stop of December. This was the best thing that has happened to her since her husband passed two years agone. We went the first time and were both very impressed with the whole temper...this was her kickoff expect at an independent living facility. At this time she didn't want to move out of her house still, we went to every other facility like this in Fort Myers and compared everything to the Palms. Mainly considering of the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff and residents. We went back 2 more times over the course of a yr and a one-half until she was ready to move. She has made and then many friends and the staff is helpful and friendly. So far...everything has worked out perfectly. The but 2 things that make up for the lack of five stars is one, the double-decker that transports them to the Dr, she says is extremely uncomfortable BUT they have told her they are getting a new motorbus..the one that takes them to outings is overnice though. And the other complaint is that the food is then then...some days good..some days not so adept. Only all in all...she's very happy with her movement.. and and then are nosotros. Diana and Laura are very helpful and accommodating. Whenever I need something, I can call them to find out information if my mother-in-law is confused. Very helpful staff!! Great place!! She is hardly ever home anymore which is a complete 360 from living in her old home...she never went anywhere...never came out of her business firm...a whole new mother in police force..for the improve!!

My mother is on a waiting list at The Palms of Fort Myers. It was nicer, more affordable, and the food was meliorate. They gave us lunch, and we picked some specials of the 24-hour interval; it was excellent. I believe the food is then good because they have it catered to the level of the independent people. I saw a few different rooms in the memory care unit that were pleasant and easily accessible to the common area. If you open up your door and you look to the right, everything is there. One time you're in the open area, you tin run across the TV and dining tables. They had activities going when nosotros were in that location, similar someone in the meeting room playing the pianoforte with all kinds of different residents in the customs listening. It's a lovely place. Information technology didn't smell, and the rest of the customs was beautiful, very clean, and very nice. They have a pool, too. I thought the price was pinnacle notch, and they weren't pushy. They didn't get you lot into the room and endeavor to force you to put down that deposit for the waiting list, which some places do. There's a real board of directors, just in that location's also a resident board that gives feedback and has some say in the customs, which I think is actually cool. They desire to keep advice open rather than simply run things. There was a person from the dementia unit on the board, and so they were getting perspectives from different people. I was impressed that they really reached out to the people in the community in the different areas to make sure that they were relevant to them. I thought information technology was actually good.

We were very impressed with The Palms. The treatment was splendid during the visit. The staff was so friendly. They seem to have a lot of activities. The only thing lacking that I would be interested in is more craft. Otherwise, they have transportation that takes you to places; they have cards, bingo and shows of music or something. They showed us a 2-bedroom, 2-bath -- non new but I call up I tin decorate information technology myself and brand information technology expect better. Information technology'due south not as squeamish equally some but it's better than some, but the size is good. The dining room and the entrance hall looked actually overnice and clean. Information technology's a lot better than some places I've been.

My husband has been a resident of The Palms for six years; I have been here for nigh iv years. He was in Assisted Living for a while; I have e'er been in Independent Living. We did not know each other before I moved here. I am on the Welcoming Committee hither. I tell newcomers that "if yous are bored or lonesome, it'southward probably your ain fault." There are enough activities here to keep anyonyone busy. Nosotros have Bingo, Scrabble, Span, water aerobics, and many, many more activities. This facility is kept spotless. I have really seen the head of housekeeping give places the "white glove test." Quite often we accept special, semi-formal dinners for residents and their guests. When I first came here I was unhappy considering I missed my onetime domicile. It didn't accept me long to realize that at The Palms I always have someone to socialize with, which is important to me. I would encourage anyone who is looking for a facility offer Assisted Living, Retentiveness Care or Independent Living services to check out The Palms. It's a wonderful identify to phone call home. Your worries over yous loved one will disappear immediately. i

The Palms of Fort Myers was okay. The staff showed us effectually and we had a fiddling tour of the facility. The facility itself was a little minor. They did take a pool there but it didn't have a lift to get in or out of the pool and that was a big issue for us. Another affair we had with them was that, if my parents were move into a identify like this and if ane of them had a fall or whatsoever, then they would have to be separated. That's actually a major setback for united states.

They have a wide range of activities, lots of games and organized exercise, outings, transportations and parties. Besides their nutrient has been very good. My mom has just moved in this May. She has only moved out of the state. She as well has early stages of dementia, so she is non actually doing so well with transferring to a new part of the land, simply I accept to say that the staff has been absolutely wonderful. The Palms of Fort Myers assisted living community was one of our stops while searching fora place for my friend'due south female parent to live. The outside area resembled that of a loftier-end, well maintained condo edifice. The interior pattern was lovely with squeamish views throughout. There was vivid light everywhere. Because the weather is so mild in that location, the residents may enjoy walks along the beach and spend time outdoors on a year round footing. The dining areas offered the kind of nutrient that you would find in a five star restaurant. All of the food we saw looked and smelled delicious. The menus included food options for all kinds of diets. The staff often takes residents on many outings into the surface area's vibrant customs to savour all that information technology has to offer. From sight seeing to nature walks and cultural events, the staff appeared to adapt all levels of ambulation. Private units featured beautifully decorated surroundings. All had a bully bargain of natural low-cal and fresh air, through big windows. Seniors are encouraged to enjoy physical activity as much every bit possible. The residents relish yoga and aerobics classes, sometimes held outdoors. The seniors appeared content here, with only the amount of intendance and attention they need.

There'south 3 unlike levels: contained living, assisted living, and retentiveness intendance, and she's currently in contained living, but she volition be moving into assisted living. That'southward another main reason we picked the Palms, was information technology would exist a one-stop-store. As she goes more into her dementia she wouldn't accept to actually get out the facility and get into another facility. The dining room is similar an actual eating house, huge, a banquet dining room, it'due south very open, airy, bright, it doesn't wait similar a facility, it looks like an bodily dining room. They're served on plates which are nice at tables that are social distancing at the moment. My female parent'southward is in a one-bedroom flat, it's very, very ample, and very nice.

The 2d pick would have been The Palms (The Palms of Fort Myers). They have the dementia department over there. The location was alright. The entrance was very hit. I similar the entrance, but it didn't have the view like in the other community. We toured The Palms four times, and one thing we didn't like is every time we went in there, we had a different sales person. The apartments at The Palms were very prissy. Just they didn't have anything available at the time, then nosotros're on a waiting list. The staff was very nice and willing to help and tell united states what they had to offering.

I am/was a resident of this facility
Everything is here that I demand; everything. The rooms are perfect for me, the staff is great, and the nutrient is skilful too. They have lots of activities like movies and cards, and accept transportation to other places. I like but how contained I can be.

I visited this facility
I loved The Palms of Fort Myers. It was very spacious and located close to the embankment. I call back if I lived in that location I would drive down to the beach everyday and be happy with information technology. The place looked like information technology suited my needs. The staff were helpful and pleasant. And the rooms were not bad at all. I would recommend this facility to other seniors who are all the same very active.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My female parent was a resident in the Bridge to Rediscovery (Memory Care) unit of measurement for about four years. She started out in the Independent apartments and did quite well for a couple of years so declined needing more supervision and care. She was fortunate to have a lovely individual room. 1 of the things I appreciated was how the staff all knew my mom and they worked every bit a team to treat her. I also appreciated the Activities staff and how they worked to engage all the residents and provide activities they would enjoy and proceed their minds sharp. The nursing staff were likewise very good about communicating with me any concerns or issues.
