My parents will exist moving into The Palms of Fort Myers next month. The identify was first-class, and it met all of our needs. The room was huge, it was large in size, and information technology was well maintained. The staff who accompanied us on tour was wonderful, she was very knowledgeable, she was flexible, and she was a neat person.

We went to The Palms of Fort Myers, which we didn't like at all. It's definitely an older facility, and information technology's kind of creepy. Nothing looked adept in that location. The staff members were very nice.

I toured The Palms of Fort Myers. I liked it, it was nice, just I didn't call up that nosotros could afford it for my mother because she was on a lot of medications, and the upcharge depending on how many medications they had to dispense just would take her out of her power to pay. They actually let us consume lunch at that place too, and so she could encounter the quality of the food, and the way the dining hall was set up, and how it operated. Information technology was nice and she liked the fact that it had a pool. The staff were all very nice. When we ate lunch it was like we were eating in a restaurant. The nutrient was excellent, she got something to beverage, a soup, an entree, and she had a little salad. It was good. The chief floor was really overnice, they had a fireplace, it looked cozy, and welcoming.

My parents moved into the Palms in July, 2019. Before moving them, I visited over a dozen retirement communities. Not one felt as warm and loving as the Palms, it truly is an extraordinary customs. Literally every unmarried person who works there is loving, kind, friendly and incredibly helpful. The culture information technology that the residents are your grandparents, and they are to be treated with the same beloved and respect as you would your own family. My parents Honey it in that location! It is no surprise that they have won the BEST OF FT MYERS RETIREMENT COMMUNITIES for over 10 years running. BTW, the nutrient is very good, they both love it. My parents really enjoy dining in the large brilliant downstairs dining room.

We pretty much decided on the Palms of Fort Myers. We've been there twice. We liked the layout of the living facilities, the dining facilities, the staff, and the amenities in that location. They were very helpful, very friendly, and courteous. They have an do room, a carte du jour room, a pool, a room for meetings, and a chapel. The food was very well prepared, aplenty, and had squeamish choices.

Everything at The Palms of Fort Myers was nice. They had cards, bowling, games, movies, and outside activities. They showed me a ane-bedroom and a two-bedroom that were adequate in size. The staff was very friendly and very nice. The identify was very clean and didn't have any odors at all. They had transportation for the residents to go shopping, to eat at restaurants, or to scout Broadway plays.

The Palms of Fort Myers was a wonderful place, and they were very informative as to what they could offer. I saw a room that was being remodeled. They were redoing the identify and installing hurricane-proof windows. They were also redoing the balustrade and the glass of the building. The volunteer coordinator, the administrator, and the marketing person were very open.

They take a i-chamber and a ii-bedroom, according to how many would want to come like if I desire to go with my hubby or he tin can get by himself. I saw everything, and everything was very squeamish. The people who work there were very helpful. I spoke to some of the residents, and everybody seemed very happy. The nutrient was very good because they invited united states to eat with them. They become to the supermarket, they continue trips, they play, they socialize, or they get out to the parks. They had a small-scale bus, and they take them to different places and even to their doctors.

My mother-in-law moved in at the stop of December. This was the best thing that has happened to her since her husband passed two years agone. We went the first time and were both very impressed with the whole temper...this was her kickoff expect at an independent living facility. At this time she didn't want to move out of her house still, we went to every other facility like this in Fort Myers and compared everything to the Palms. Mainly considering of the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff and residents. We went back 2 more times over the course of a yr and a one-half until she was ready to move. She has made and then many friends and the staff is helpful and friendly. So far...everything has worked out perfectly. The but 2 things that make up for the lack of five stars is one, the double-decker that transports them to the Dr, she says is extremely uncomfortable BUT they have told her they are getting a new motorbus..the one that takes them to outings is overnice though. And the other complaint is that the food is then then...some days good..some days not so adept. Only all in all...she's very happy with her movement.. and and then are nosotros. Diana and Laura are very helpful and accommodating. Whenever I need something, I can call them to find out information if my mother-in-law is confused. Very helpful staff!! Great place!! She is hardly ever home anymore which is a complete 360 from living in her old home...she never went anywhere...never came out of her business firm...a whole new mother in police force..for the improve!!

My mother is on a waiting list at The Palms of Fort Myers. It was nicer, more affordable, and the food was meliorate. They gave us lunch, and we picked some specials of the 24-hour interval; it was excellent. I believe the food is then good because they have it catered to the level of the independent people. I saw a few different rooms in the memory care unit that were pleasant and easily accessible to the common area. If you open up your door and you look to the right, everything is there. One time you're in the open area, you tin run across the TV and dining tables. They had activities going when nosotros were in that location, similar someone in the meeting room playing the pianoforte with all kinds of different residents in the customs listening. It's a lovely place. Information technology didn't smell, and the rest of the customs was beautiful, very clean, and very nice. They have a pool, too. I thought the price was pinnacle notch, and they weren't pushy. They didn't get you lot into the room and endeavor to force you to put down that deposit for the waiting list, which some places do. There's a real board of directors, just in that location's also a resident board that gives feedback and has some say in the customs, which I think is actually cool. They desire to keep advice open rather than simply run things. There was a person from the dementia unit on the board, and so they were getting perspectives from different people. I was impressed that they really reached out to the people in the community in the different areas to make sure that they were relevant to them. I thought information technology was actually good.

We were very impressed with The Palms. The treatment was splendid during the visit. The staff was so friendly. They seem to have a lot of activities. The only thing lacking that I would be interested in is more craft. Otherwise, they have transportation that takes you to places; they have cards, bingo and shows of music or something. They showed us a 2-bedroom, 2-bath -- non new but I call up I tin decorate information technology myself and brand information technology expect better. Information technology'due south not as squeamish equally some but it's better than some, but the size is good. The dining room and the entrance hall looked actually overnice and clean. My husband has been a resident of The Palms for six years; I have been here for nigh iv years. He was in Assisted Living for a while; I have e'er been in Independent Living. There are enough activities here to keep anyonyone busy. Nosotros have Bingo, Scrabble, Span, water aerobics, and many, many more activities. This facility is kept spotless. I have really seen the head of housekeeping give places the "white glove test." Quite often we accept special, semi-formal dinners for residents and their guests. When I first came here I was unhappy considering I missed my onetime domicile. It didn't accept me long to realize that at The Palms I always have someone to socialize with, which is important to me. I would encourage anyone who is looking for a facility offer Assisted Living, Retentiveness Care or Independent Living services to check out The Palms. It's a wonderful identify to phone call home. The Palms of Fort Myers assisted living community was one of our stops while searching fora place for my friend'due south female parent to live. The outside area resembled that of a loftier-end, well maintained condo edifice. The interior pattern was lovely with squeamish views throughout. There was vivid light everywhere. Because the weather is so mild in that location, the residents may enjoy walks along the beach and spend time outdoors on a year round footing. The dining areas offered the kind of nutrient that you would find in a five star restaurant. All of the food we saw looked and smelled delicious. The menus included food options for all kinds of diets. The staff often takes residents on many outings into the surface area's vibrant customs to savour all that information technology has to offer. From sight seeing to nature walks and cultural events, the staff appeared to adapt all levels of ambulation. Private units featured beautifully decorated surroundings. All had a bully bargain of natural low-cal and fresh air, through big windows. Seniors are encouraged to enjoy physical activity as much every bit possible. The residents relish yoga and aerobics classes, sometimes held outdoors. The seniors appeared content here, with only the amount of intendance and attention they need.
